Beginning Again

It was great to see everyone after a spring and half summer of social distancing.

With a heavy heart, Alex said that Karen Berg, one of the founders of the Kabbalah Centre (pictured here) has left our world.

I'm thinking seriously of purchasing the Kabbalah 1 class so we can all watch it here on my computer. Donations welcome. After our discussion I have been thinking obsessively of "Pause. What a pleasure." from the first Kabbalah 1 lesson. I realize now that it makes total sense that every time we say something negative about anyone or anything we are making it more powerful in our mind. My thought experiment for this week: every time I have a negative thought I think "What a pleasure." So far, I can see a glimpse of a portal opening.

At our last meeting we talked about hiking. Cyndi has extended a hiking invitation to everyone in our group and reminded us to post places we have enjoyed hiking this summer. One of my favorites: North Branch Cascade Trail is in Worcester and has at least six swimming holes along a river. Another one you may like a lot is the Spirit in Nature Trail near Middlebury.

Janet mentioned that she is enjoying the book Dreamwork for the Soul: A Spiritual Guide to Dream Interpretation by Rosemary Ellen Guiley.

Before the Ana B'Koach prayer next time, we are planning to pause for the intentionality of sending love into the world.

Next meeting will be Monday, September 14 in my yard (Sept. 7 is labor Please bring your own food at 6 or just come at 7. I'll send a reminder and I'm always very happy to host these meetings.
