It was great to get together on Zoom last night, and discuss Class 6! Below is a recap. As always, some of the things we discussed really stood out in my mind. We are directing our intentions for Cyndi to heal beautifully from her surgeries.
Che shared an inspiring story about events coming full circle to save the lives of Che's father and then his close friend. This was a perfect example of giving and receiving. Thank you all for speaking about the importance of allowing ourselves to feel emotions such as grief, the certainty that the light is everywhere, and the value of keeping our lives simple and quiet even after the pandemic.
Kabbalah 1, class 6 CLASS NOTES
RECAP
"Most of us think, 'I'll believe it when I see it,' but no- you will see it when you believe it!" - Rav Berg
JOURNAL
In what areas or situation in your life you are repetitively anxious or worried?
SPIRITUAL RULE #6
In times of darkness, there is greater Light.
SPIRITUAL TOOL #6
I am certain. In this very moment, I am with the Light, and the Light is with me.
LIGHT WORK
Take the situations you wrote about in the worksheet, and use those moments to shift from reactive to certain. Do your best and let the Light do the rest. Know that you are with the Light, and the Light is with YOU.
Annette's example (from my memory so feel free to correct):
It worries me when I take up too much space. It makes me feel [negative emotion] toward myself when I take up too much space. Then I [react negatively].
Transformation replacing the problem with the light:
It worries me when the light isn't what I want it to be. It makes me feel ___________ toward the light. Then I ___________.
For me, replacing our problems with the light reinforces and certainty beyond the anxiety we feel when we are unable to use logic to solve a problem. It's reassuring to know that the light will show me the path.
Add to your daily intention:
• Help me get closer to the Light.
• Help me look at my challenges as opportunities and
practice “Pause. What a pleasure!”
• Help me be a sharing being today.
• I am with the Light, and the Light is with me.
Our next meeting will be the first Monday of April! April 5, 6:00 p.m. We can begin our meeting with watching Kabbalah Two, class 1. I will send a reminder:)
