We forgot to watch Kabbalah 1 and instead watched a video about the Ten Emanations. Maybe next time we can start with Kabbalah 1. In the Ten Emanations video there was discussion about the infinite and finite and how we are experiencing both at the same time. Because there is no linear time, rather than progress from the finite to the infinite in our conscious mind we are have a conscious experience somewhere along a continuous circle. Ellen recommends the feature film Arrival to see an illustration of this concept. Annette said she is aware of times when she does have an experience of the infinite (stepping outside of linear time or not being aware of time) and suggested a discussion on our individual experiences of the infinite for our next meeting. So perhaps we can say the Ana B'Koach prayer, look at the Kabbalah cards again, have a discussion on our personal experiences of the infinite and watch the first Kabbalah 1 video. Our next meeting will be Monday, November 11 or 11/11:)
